Supporting the scientific community

We are delighted to provide ongoing funding for the research team of Professor Mark Emberton OBE at University College London.

Professor Emberton is developing new and exciting innovations in the field of interventional oncology, and researching into prostate and other cancers.

Supporting young people through training

Express Medicals sponsors Wythenshawe Weightlifting Club, a sporting organisation that promotes health through activity for young people in the Wythenshawe area of Greater Manchester.

Projects at the club include programmes working with autistic youths and providing nutritious food for children eligible for free school meals during the holidays.

Supporting charities in our community

We support the work of the Lighthouse Education Service, a charity in South London, near our headquarters, helping young people and families to tackle learning barriers, fight poverty and break the unemployment cycle. They are creating a strong, robust educational and socio-economic foundation for success.

Supporting cookstoves project in Malawi

We're proud sponsors of the M'tetezi cook stove project. M'tetezi cookstove is energy-efficient, locally made biomass stove in Malawi, designed to reduce wood consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. It improves heat transfer, lowers indoor air pollution, and saves time spent gathering firewood. The recent project verification confirmed 365,043 tCO2e emission reductions and the distribution of 54,873 stoves, supporting Sustainable Development Goals like health, poverty reduction, and gender equality. The M'tetezi project is making significant strides in climate change mitigation and sustainable development, benefiting both the environment and communities in Malawi.
